Sharon Ann (Laswell) Collins

       Sharon Ann (Laswell) Collins, 77, of Aurora passed away Friday, March 29, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Health Hospice in Edgewood. Sharon was born on Monday, April 22, 1946, in Batesville; daughter of Dallas and Florence (Demaree) Laswell. Sharon married the love of her life, Steven Collins Sr., on September 3, 1993, and he survives her. Sharon was a slot attendant at Grand Victoria Casino for 10 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star for 40+ years and attended church in Connersville. Sharon enjoyed crocheting, shopping, traveling, and riding motorcycles. She loved spending holidays with her family and decorating her home for the holidays. She loved to bake, make candy, and make wedding cakes. Sharon dearly loved her dogs Sophie and Chanel. Most of all, Sharon cherished spending time with her loving children and grandchildren.

       Sharon will be missed by her husband Steven Collins Sr. of Aurora; son William “Billy” (Andrea “Andy”) Kinman of Moores Hill; daughter Amanda Collins of Madison; 8 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

       Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Dallas and Florence Laswell; daughters Sherry (Kinman) Meeks and Tina (Kinman) Wells; sister Paulene Goodpaster; and brother Gary Laswell.

       A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00-6:00 PM, Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. A service will immediately follow at 6:00 PM with Rev. Brandon Wells officiating. Memorials may be given in honor of Sharon to St. Elizabeth Health Hospice; 483 S. Loop Rd., Edgewood, KY 41017.
